Though pretty much inactive at the moment, Dratini Mod saw it fit to share a few adventures to make up for it ~~(and let whoever is reading this know she’s still alive)~~.

Hey, so Dratini Mod here. So, let’s get on to those adventures I said I’d post. For the past few days, I teamed up with Lord Poliwag Mod for an event hosted by our university called Chalk the Walk. Basically, it’s an art competition that takes place over three days. Students are assigned a square of the walkway in front of the Student Union Building and pretty much draw using chalk. There are five awards given out; “Best in Show,” “People’s Choice,” and then first place in each of the three themes (original work, reproduction, and I don’t know the third one). Chalk the Walk ended today at noon (Pacific Standard Time) so now we’re just waiting around for the winners to be announced.

So yeah. Allow me to share our entry: Square #10

All of the flat coloring…I did. ~~And my fingertips still sting from all of the rubbing and smearing…~~

And, for the sake of showing off Lord Poliwag Mod in all of her artistic glory, have some progress shots from Days 1 - 3 ~

Why is Dratini Mod not in any of the pictures? She’s camera shy…haha, nah. Dratini Mod was being a stealthy stalker-status photographer and was busy capturing Lord Poliwag Mod in the act of arting.

Also, shout out to Square 12 (top left corner of above picture) and their awesome entry of Totoro. We totally bonded over these past three days.

And there you have Dratini Mod’s exploits with Lord Poliwag Mod. Thanks for reading (or at least glancing at the pictures). Also, Dratini Mod and Lord Poliwag Mod are planning to team up and have a stream this Saturday. Just for funsies. Aaaaand that’s all for now ~

Hey guys, Dratini Mod checking in to give a quick word on her recent inactivity. Classes are more important, kthnxbai.

Okay, maybe that was too quick. In all seriousness, my classes are indeed more important to me and we’re getting really close to the end of the quarter—and school year. Term papers on term papers on presentations galore. I do expect Dratini to be more active as soon as summer starts, and I do have something in mind for a summer giveaway—brought on by recent plans to, once again, attend the madness that is Anime Expo.

Other updates with Dratini Mod include landing a sweet position as a first-time staffer at AX, and plans to sit down and put together a horror-adventure game using RPG Maker with the one-and-only Risocaa, admin of Ask Lord Poliwag. Once things start coming together more smoothly, you’ll probably hear about this game again (since we’ll be looking for people to test the game for us and make sure things are running as planned).

So yeah. There’s Dratini Mod’s word on her inactivity. Thanks for reading, or if you accidentally clicked on the “Read More” rather than another button…uhm pay more attention? Aha.
